Manindra Chandra Nandy

Maharaja Sir Manindra Chandra Nandy KCIE was the Maharaja of Cossimbazar Raj from 1898 to 1929 and a philanthropist and reformist in the period of the Bengal Renaissance.

Manindra Chandra Nandy was born onMay 1860 into the royal family of Cossimbazar. His mother, Gobinda Sundari died when he was two, and his father died when he was ten.
